Bromance over Romance - Privileging the Bromance - A study & Examples

Image
Young men get more emotional satisfaction out of “bromances”—close, heterosexual friendships with other males—than they do out of romantic relationships with women, according to a small new  study published in  Men and Masculinities . This study along with a few examples in the reality exemplifies that men need more bromance than romance. Bromances can be important to heterosexual men, and can, in fact, be even more valued than romances. We all have one or two close friendships with whom we share more intimate things without borders and this article is all about it. This article only for men, so girls don't! Just like "Blood is thicker than Water", similar it is "Bromance is stronger than Romance". I have written a few answers in Quora earlier about how the loss of a friend in life affects your performance. We may have many friends, but a "Bro" could be one or two. Calling / Addressing you as "Bro" doesn't mean unless I feel the term with...

Seasoning MBA Application @ US - Part 1 - Basics

Image
Oh! Yes, this segment is completely a new topic when comparing all my previous posts. Planned to complete in 4 Parts. Will see. :-) The following are the 4 parts: Seasoning MBA Applications - Part 1 - Basics Seasoning MBA Applications - Part 2 - What they need? Seasoning MBA Applications - Part 3 - How they evaluate? Seasoning MBA Applications - Part 4 - Employability and Finance Post MBA There is a strong reason for composing this post now. Yes, few might have been aware about of the reason whilst most of them wouldn't know the reason. It is the real time to confess on this stuff. I would like to pursue my full-time Master in Business Administration in a reputed institute. Reiterating, FULL-TIME . The goal was little bit budding within me since 2013 when there was a spoof content in some website defaming me. Left it uncared due to the vigorous other works including various Governmental and Inter-Governmental tasks. Added a fame to my thought, I discussed with...

Indeterminable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) - Part 1 of 2

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is India's Central Banking Institution, which controls the Monetary Policy of the Indian Rupee and other banks operating within India. Sometimes, RBI is well known for its stupidest decisions. Last December (2013), under the heading of the new Governor, there was a decision for increase in security by inputting the PIN at POS for transactions. Upto me this is one of the wrong decision take by RBI. A latest statistics quotes that the Debit / Credit Card are owned by 67% of the Upper Middle Class and High Class people across India. Of this the most of them are of high class. Just imagine for each and every transaction would the CEO go down to the cash counter to input the PIN? Or will he get down from the car while fueling up? No for both the cases, he needs to share his/her PIN to sub-ordinates or to the person who serves him. This is a very serious threat. Same way, I was in an average hotel a week ago. I happened to counter one of the balance 33% of...

What Indian Colleges failed to teach Students? P3

In the continuation to my older posts : P1 , P2 The mentality of each and every parent is that their ward needs to earn a minimum of 500 USD every month post their education. But there are many factors which the parents fail to understand. All the education will not give such salary in India. Before that its the student's and college responsibility to explain their parents and their investors respectively about the process of getting a job. Here both the parties fail in the expectation. The horrible stuff is that the student is not even eligible for getting a basic job in the company and he / she demands for it. And there are some more critical positions which is being admitted by the candidate with false affirmation. "A candidate of Chemical Engineering is posted into the Software Testing zone". What do you feel about this idiotic statement and how far will he be able to get the output? Even if he delivers the output what will be the ratio which he renders? Doesn't t...

Lunch @ Taj Falaknuma Palace

Image
After some tiring business deals and events myself and my mom seriously wanted to rejuvenate ourselves. So, decided to have a small lunch at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. Yeah, I have heard that it is slightly expensive. But I thought of moving for a short break. I wanted to book a table, so searched for the number via JustDial and got it. It would be some old male who picked the call and I enquired about the Lunch Buffet or A La Carte. Then he transferred the call to Restaurant. There was some lady ( :D ) who picked the call and got my name for the Reservation. She was very much cautious about accepting me for the Lunch with serious of questions like Are you a Honeymoon couple or do you have a kid less than 12 years old. I replied that it will take minimum 5 more years to come with a Kid. She laughed and booked my reservation which was supposed to be at 1:30 PM. I went to few locations of sight seeing and was little bit delayed to be there by 10 minutes. I arrived at their check-po...
