Expectational Trust - Factor of Life

Image
In our life, we always have expectations and trust in someone or some situations. When it combines together, it gives the blend of Expectational Trust. It differs from person to person and situation to situation how we are attached with the person or situation. When someone breaches this expectational trust, it should be learnt that they are trying to emotionally hack. Technologically, they want us to lower our values and get it happened. I recently remember speaking about this at my book release ceremony which happened at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia when someone asked about my personal loss because of the smartphone.   There are lots of live examples when we go for a restaurant with a friend and if he knows that you missed your wallet, he should pay for it immediately. Should not wait until we ask out for the bill payment. And there are some more worst people to whom even after asking out, they will refuse to pay showing off. They expect us to beg to pay or make some...

VISA on Arrival for Indians at Dubai, UAE

Image
Indian passport holders with a valid American visa or a Green Card will now be eligible to obtain a UAE visa on arrival, as per the decree approved by the UAE Cabinet. The decision to have a simplified visa process is aimed at advancing the UAE-India relations in economic, politics, and trade. It also contributes to achieving UAE’s vision to be the leading country in attracting global tourism. The visa will be valid for 14 days, with a single extension possible for a fee. “Citizens of the Republic of India who are holders of normal passports with a six-month, or more, valid green card or visa issued by the United States of America shall be granted entry visas to the UAE from all ports for a period of 14 days, subject for a single renewal for the same period upon payment of applicable fees,” an official statement said. Lots of queries were present in connection with this. Thought of writing this post to transfer the experience gained in obtaining the VISA. I travelled to Dubai, United A...

Seasoning MBA Applications – Part 4 – Employability and Finance Post MBA I will describe the reason for the delay in the later part of my post. Evaluation is the most critical part of one's MBA application and one's judgment. You read it right,  Individual Applicant's Application  and  Judgement of the Admissions Office(r) . I tried to attempt a DDoS ( :P ) in each and every location where I applied for or my bro applied for. Most of the schools use the rubric as the key methodology. A stern analysis was done when the admissions officer gave ...

I would like to pursue my full-time Master in Business Administration in a reputed institute. Reiterating, FULL-TIME . The goal was little bit budding within me since 2013 when there was a spoof content in some website defaming me. Left it uncared due to the vigorous other works including various Governmental and Inter-Governmental tasks. Added a fame to my thought, I discussed with...

Gift Kit for eVisa Tourists to India

Image
The worst faced problem by any Foreigner visiting to India is the Communication. Getting a SIM card and the tedious activation process by the TRAI pulls back their interest in getting one. This is an interesting development, and probably a first for any country across the globe. Ministry of Tourism has planned this new initiative, that will help new tourists in India. Tourists landing in India on e-tourist visa would soon be getting a “gift kit” from Tourism Ministry which would consist of SIM card, among other things. “This will be gift from Tourism Ministry…it will be handed over to the tourists arriving in India on e-tourist visa,” a Tourism Ministry source said. The “gift” would consist of a SIM card which the tourists can use for making calls after they have recharged it. Besides, it would also consist of maps, booklets and CD with information about various tourists destinations, guidelines relating to dos and don’ts, details regarding whom to contact i...

Japan – Expensive Punctual Lifestyle

It is always a pleasure in exploring various countries and that too in an entertainment mode or mood. In that list, I wanted to explore the Japan. After making a steady plan,  I made myself to visit Tokyo for few days draining Indian Economy and boosting the Japanese Economy . And I did it almost. Born and being brought-up in India is always a curse because you don’t the value of Time and Life. But the Japanese culture does it. As soon as I landed-up, there was a shuttle bus which takes me to The Narita Port Hotel which is actually renamed as Narita Gateway hotel. I didn’t update my time in my hand phone, but to my surprize it was there exactly ON-TIME. Generally, in India we used to be ON-TIME by mistake. When we arrive ON-TIME, you will not have the right respect and mileage. But it is just opposite in Japanese culture. Wasn’t that much satisfied with the Hotel Accommodation as it was exactly the size of our Kitchen in my house. But it was compact and tight fit for an indiv...

Diplomatic Personality - Simple Steps for Dummies

Stand your ground. Being diplomatic means standing up for yourself, so do it. Be firm in your responses and opinions and stand by them. Focus on the facts of the situation. Take a moment to step back and evaluate the situation objectively and assess the factual information before you without including your emotions. Think before you act . Even if you’re angry or feeling offended, take a second to breathe and think things through before you say or do anything. If you have to, actually think, “Breathe!” in your head to keep yourself calm. It might seem difficult, but taking that extra second to evaluate the situation will keep you from seeming hot-headed or presumptuous. Be non-confrontational . It’s okay to be assertive, and assertiveness can even help you get your diplomatic points heard, but avoid language that could be heard as confrontational or overly aggressive. Use decisive language . Speak clearly in simple language so that the person or people you’re addressing won’...

Planning for Tunisia Visa

Image
I got an invitation from one of my friend MSB from Tunisia inviting me for his conference which is happening there between May 3 - May 6, 2014. Actually it was a long time plan to visit Tunisia since March 2013. So, I saw my calendar and found that there were only few meeting of not higher importance. I gave a reschedule for all the meetings and said "OK" to Pr. Med Salim Bouhlel. Now, the travel itinerary was finalized by our Corporate Partner via.com and arrangements were followed by my Global PS. After booking the travel tickets we were searching for the Embassy of Tunis in India. Almost after a week we found their contact number and called, there was an automated IVR which was never connecting to either the Receptionist or Visa Officer. Fed up totally and reached our agent who works on the VISA Processing in our office. He said he will be charging additionally and I said "Ok, go ahead. I have booked the ticket after spending almost 2500 USD in this route. ". The...
