Graduation Day Commencement Speech @ Sri Lanka

Image
Reading Time: 4 Minutes 10 Seconds / Speech Time: 9 Minutes 4 Seconds Today, the day of your official transformation from Quantity to Quality carried away by this 9 grams of paper shielded in 140 grams of the holder is going to be a stronger date in your entire life. For most of them, it may be an end card, where for some it would be a beginning. Everyone is comfortable in their timezone; where time is linear and life is never meant to be such. I happened to visit the Keells Supermarket which was just a few meters away from my station this morning. The manager who greeted me was a bit friendly as I was the only customer and I wanted to get some paper packed juices for my breakfast. He was suggesting me few juice packs and directed me to the right section. When I reached that section, I saw different varieties of juices and started the usual Economist way of thinking and started my hunt. I saw a pack being labelled as 30 rupees which usually used to be 200 rupees in my hometown. Was del...

Image
Every Journey in my life counts and my very recent Journey to the United Kingdom was really more impressive and soul-satisfying. Stop Judging me with the above statement. This is my 100th post and if you didn't get me till now, a hard regret for your understanding ability. After a very long-time in-service, I happened to fly in Jet Airways from New Delhi, India to London, United Kingdom. It was a quite long travel for around 9 hours and 10 minutes. Since it was my own money, I flew in Economy Class and got my preferred seat. I got a window seat on the 38th row. A descriptive is shown in the below image, but not the actual seatmap. With last few passengers left behind boarding the aircraft, I arrived at the gate and boarded the aircraft. Was really happy to see that my next seat is empty and frequent travellers can surely feel its pleasure. OMG! The pleasure didn't last long. A mid 20's girl was searching for her seat with a small handbag. She arrived near my seat and claime...

Identification of being Emotionally Attached vs Love

Love is one of those things that almost every person on this planet is searching for. Some may get it where most may not get it. And the most important is getting a true love or companionship has been distinct. Some of us want it so badly that we get swept up in the initial stages of romance, blinded by feelings of lust, affection, and desire. There's no better feeling in this world than finding a person who loves you just as much as you love them. But, sometimes we idealise people, rather than letting them just be themselves. And this is because we're searching for our own validation, rather than a genuine, loving bond. Sometimes what we think is love is really just an emotional dependence that we've come to rely on for our own satisfaction and self-worth. Listed below are few signs that your relationship might not be as healthy for you as you think it is: 1. A large portion of your self-worth is derived from your significant other's approval, affection and attention. ...

APJ Abdul Kalam - A tribute

APJ Abdul Kalam (Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam) was a man of simplicity without any political interference. Recently passed away carrying the minds and hearts of many people. The psychology says that when we lose a person in the life, no one can immediately react by crying or roll on the floor for missing them. It will surely take minimum 36 hours to realize that we are going to miss them forever. Happened to meet him few times at various occasions. A very interesting person of a exceptional skill-set. On 28th July, 2015 I landed at New Delhi from my International Trip to London. I got the message from our Secretary that Dr. APJ Kalam passed away. Before the immigration was over, I called him to confirm if the news is true or a rumor like always. He attended the call at 1 AM and said it was a confirmed news. After visiting the location, secretary literally gave out few drops of tears and I didn't. He immediately coined me as if am exhibiting sectarianism. But really am never ...

Japan – Expensive Punctual Lifestyle

It is always a pleasure in exploring various countries and that too in an entertainment mode or mood. In that list, I wanted to explore the Japan. After making a steady plan,  I made myself to visit Tokyo for few days draining Indian Economy and boosting the Japanese Economy . And I did it almost. Born and being brought-up in India is always a curse because you don’t the value of Time and Life. But the Japanese culture does it. As soon as I landed-up, there was a shuttle bus which takes me to The Narita Port Hotel which is actually renamed as Narita Gateway hotel. I didn’t update my time in my hand phone, but to my surprize it was there exactly ON-TIME. Generally, in India we used to be ON-TIME by mistake. When we arrive ON-TIME, you will not have the right respect and mileage. But it is just opposite in Japanese culture. Wasn’t that much satisfied with the Hotel Accommodation as it was exactly the size of our Kitchen in my house. But it was compact and tight fit for an indiv...

Andreas Guenter Lubitz - The Slider of GermanWings

Image
The co-pilot responsible for the Germanwings plane crash was today named as Andreas Guenter Lubitz. The 28-year-old was from Montabaur, a town in the district seat of the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, according to a local flight club. Acquaintances said he was in his late 20s and showed no signs of depression when they saw him last autumn. His Facebook page lists his interests, including German electronica band Schiller, French superstar DJ David Guetta, his local Burger King, 10-pin bowling, aviation humor and a technical website about the A320 model of aircraft he flew into a mountainside. Today, at the house believed to be his parents', the curtains were drawn and four police cars were parked outside. "He was happy he had the job with Germanwings and he was doing well," said a member of a glider club, Peter Ruecker, who watched him learn to fly. "He gave off a good feeling." Ruecker said Lubitz had a girlfriend but did not have many more d...

Germanwings - a StopStone in Aviation Industry

Image
The co-pilot blamed for deliberately crashing a passenger jet with 150 people on board into the Alps used post-9/11 safety mechanisms to carry out his plan. Andreas Guenter Lubitz, 28, waited for his captain, Patrick Sondenheimer to leave the flight deck and go to the toilet before commanding the Airbus A-320 to descend. Once out of the cockpit, the door locked automatically. Ironically, this auto-lock feature, which led to Lubitz having sole control of the plane, was introduced as a way of improving flight safety in the wake of 9/11. The Airbus A320 is fitted with a locking mechanism to prevent unauthorised access to the flight deck while the aircraft is in flight. The door was also specially strengthened, to prevent someone from being able to barge their way through. The safety systems were improved in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks where hijackers were able to gain access to the cockpit and take over the aircraft. Access to the cockpit door on the Germanwings Airbus A320 (...

Crush with Air-Hostess

This is a very common feel which will be experienced by each and every first time airline flyer. The person who says "Welcome, can I help you?" is a very big crush which they feel in their lifetime. Yes, today I happened to watch Bangalore Days with my colleagues. As similiar to Nivin Pauly, even I have experienced the same feel. Though my first flying experience was when I was too young, I didn't feel it and this become used. But eventhen, there was a chase for me :D :P This happened two years ago when I traveled from Hong Kong to some unknown destination (Forgot It :-( ), there was a air-hostess in Dragon Air whose name was "Vicky". She was trying to learn my name and I was explaining her that her name was sounding like a male name. Almost spent around 2 hours. Most of them who are flying with me have a crush with minimum atleast 1 or 2 Air Hostess. Though they aren't aware that Air hostess will not travel with everyone, but still they develop the crush an...

Bangkok - How I got arrested and released in minutes?

Bangkok, the divine place for the bachelors and even some of the married persons. I frequently visit the place for various purposes like my office and transit to other countries. Even-though people sometimes who aren't aware of my position initially think with a glitch about my frequent visit to Bangkok, later realize how important my position is and how it is being monitored every minute by minute. But those are apart as I never bother about them and I am committed for my self-control move not only at Bangkok, instead across the Globe. Recently, as usual I was there to Bangkok. Generally, I use to have a team of people who work in my office assisting various moves at the Hotel where I stay as well as in my office. It was a early morning and I had a very bad hard decision making stuffs the previous night so wasn't able to sleep, I was thinking about it. Since, I was jobless, I went too early for the breakfast at the Hotel. In the morning, it was literally untimely for my BF (Br...

HFFD & HPFD - Friendship Days Classification

Yesterday August 3, 2014 many of my fellows sent across a text saying "Happy Friendship Day" through Whatsapp, Twitter and Facebook. I love seeing their messages as it could be a some script or CPW (Copy Paste Work), it is reciprocated. The deadly question is that the without meaning, why the hell people are sending scraps. Case 1: Those who personally don't know me are sending "HFD", when I reply for those idiotic messages saying thanks and inquiring about them, I get funny replies likes. Yes, I dono who you are. Anyway, we shall become friends! Case 2: My friends those who are highly close enough too send this message. When you are good friend of mine throughout the year, whats special in this day? Unfortunately, I hate having close friends. This has a high exception for Business Friends and Professional Friends. It doesn't means that I am a sadist, instead I am selfish. If someone is coined as a close friend, he/she should be able to judge 100% about my a...

Losing a Business

Losing future business is very simple these days. Just deliver without quality, you can lose it. But recently I had a study/learning about losing a business by being adamant. Yes, I was in a good contact with an organization since 2009. That was of an win-win opportunity for both of us. In 2010, we have generated them a revenue of around 100,000 INR. Recently, they have upgraded the platform. In that platform, we were given with the rights of creating multiple issues and we did it. Finally at the end, we got a call saying you will be charged for all the issues verbally and there was no email or written communication earlier. We all got shocked about it and had a strong argument. The business head was no way co-operating for our terms, and she was a lady. The issue generated a revenue of INR 15,000 for us and we were charged with INR 10,000 and again the TDR for that INR 15,000. We explained a lot to the person who were involved in it expressing the fact of how we will be losing and fac...

Successful Vs Unsuccessful - A Race View

Image
There is a race between being successful and unsuccessful in each and every activity. There are few people like me (over-boosted) to quote that they followed Unsuccessful career and got a successful life. In the following image, almost 95% it satisfies the criteria for me. But to note, I am bit successful and still striving to be successful.

Element 117 in Periodic Table Confirmed

This was one my favorite during my 10th Standard. Use to memorize the entire stuff from T2B. Later it got diminished as the years passed by. I could still recollect how we wasted the salts, strong acids, weak acids in the Chemistry Lab without the knowledge of the Lab Assistants. The periodic table has been extended, with the announcement of the confirmation of the yet to be named element 117. In 2010 a US Russian collaboration announced they had produced atoms of an element with 117 protons, filling a gap that appeared when 118 was made four years earlier. However International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) insists on corroboration by two independent teams before it allows new elements to be added to the Periodic Table, although a temporary name of Ununseptium is in use until confirmation has been made. It has taken four years, but this appears to have finally arrived. “Making element 117 is at the absolute boundary of what is possible right now,” says Professor David Hi...

My Publications Tracks - 2014 - Kokula Krishna Hari K

Image
I generally don't like sharing my publications. Am not sure about why this attitude has developed within me. It may be because, during my Ph. D. I literally use to beg people for Joint Publication, Share their previous articles, Get access for Premier Proceedings and so on. But I was successful only around 5% - 6% of my total effort. But I got several requests from my close associates to publish my track atleast once in a year which will surely help people in finding about me.
