Indian Friendship - Trust & Respect

Image
More than a decade, the real fruit of acquiring a friend was missed in my life. In a friendship trust and respect are the only components, others are not even into the list. The blossoming period of life, the school thought me much in India but failed to teach me life lessons. And, being an Indian Kid, I had been constantly controlled, monitored and directed whom to speak with and whom not to. Not limited to the gender, there was a heavy restriction on the selection and this selection was done by my parents; yes you read it right. To say more about the Indian theocratic society, the 1950 - 1990 parents are more concerned about the Religion, Caste, Color and Social Status. Usually, the wingspans are the cut short for an individual and they fix it with Fevicol artificially. There are millions and millions of factors imposed by the parents and guardians while choosing one friend. This decision of choosing is highly impacted. Do never exclude me from this list, I have been in the same posi...

Conversation with future Spouse – Part 3/28 – Appearances / Looks

Always ageing is a factor which appears on the skin leaving a strong traces of love and affection which one possessed during the span. So, this is more important. Are there cosmetic procedures that you regularly undergo? Do you feel that you can have good chemistry with someone who is moderately physically attractive to you, or is a strong physical attraction necessary? Do you have strong preferences about being with a particular physical type? Do you worry about getting old? Do you worry about losing your looks? Has physical appearance or chemistry ever been a factor in the breakup of a relationship? How important is it that you always look your best? How important is your spouse's appearance? How much money do you spend on clothing every year? Is weight control important to you? Is your spouse's weight important to you? What do you like and dislike about your appearance? What would your reaction be if your partner were to gain a significant amount of...

People Expect Big Always

The people in the world including me expect everything to happen in a BIGGER manner and beyond the expectations. Yet still, even after achieving it we aren’t happy. This is a clear defined psychological disorder in my perspective. In India, initially there was a guy who was drawing USD 100 a month; he expected to add a “0” at the last of the salary figure. He worked too hard and added as he wished. Now, he was drawing USD 1000 a month; he wanted to double his salary value. Yes, he achieved in doing it. Now comes the tax issue, so he started all the tax saving process. To have his sustainable income, he wanted to earn some more, this continued until he reached the monthly salary USD 7500 at different actions. And his will came live, he got a good position into the society and unable to move with the society for his personal pleasures. Though he had a big bank balance, he wasn’t able to eat peacefully as he had a huge stress issues. What was the final outcome of earning such? I have even...

ESC Key Not Functional in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

If you’re a keyboard geek and you use Photoshop, you’ve likely been annoyed that the escape key doesn’t work in other applications while Photoshop is running.  It’s one of those tiny things that can drive you insane, so The Geek hacked together a solution for you.  You could always press Shift+esc to get the traditional escape key behavior in other applications, but he decided to make your life simpler through the power of AutoHotkey. When one key on your keyboard is not working, despite all the other keys responding properly, you have one of two possibilities: Either something in your computer is intercepting that particular key, or the key is broken. If you tried a spare keyboard and the key still doesn’t work, this almost eliminates the possibility of a malfunctioning keyboard. You still can’t rule it out, though, by the off-chance that both keyboards have the same defective key. As unlikely as it seems, it’s still possible. Let’s see how we can determine that. The keyboard is a de...

THUMBS.DB in Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 - Deletion Error

In windows 8 and 8.1 the option to create a thumbs.db file is on by default . This can be a problem when you try to delete those media folders that you no longer need. Windows won’t let you delete the thumbs.db file and you will end up with a lot of empty folders that you can’t remove. First you want to deactivate the thumbs.db from being generated: The fastest way to do this is to run the following command : REG ADD “HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer” /v “DisableThumbsDBOnNetworkFolders” /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f For who doesn’t want to run unknown commands on his computer you can also do this by yourself: Run (windows key + R) - write: regedit and press Enter Navigate to:  HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explore > Advanced Right click and create New DWORD Value , name it DeleteThumbnailCache  and set its value to 1. This does exactly the same thing as the command I wrote. Happy people! PING PONG!
